Classroom Positions (Teachers and Aides)

Painted Desert Montessori Academy is seeking teachers to join our family in senior elementary (4-6 grade) and middle school (7 & 8 grade).

We are seeking teachers who preferably have either Traditional Montessori experience or hands-on experience in multi-grade level classrooms (e.g. 1-3 grade in a single classroom).

We are also seeking classroom aides for the same grade levels. Aides should have a high school diploma, a kind disposition, and a love of learning.

We offer a Traditional Montessori Model using high-quality materials each day and take pride in fidelity to the Montessori philosophy. Our campus is a peaceful environment where we use the Montessori philosophy to empower confident learners.  Our staff members root their interactions with students in love and are encouraged to help children by fostering a true love of life-long learning. If you would like to be considered for a position in the 2017-18 school year, please contact us today at 623-900-5132 or send your cover letter and resume to info@pdma.education.

Enrichment Positions

Painted Desert Montessori Academy is seeking a phenomenal strings instructor to join our school family and pass on their passion and love for music to our students.

We are seeking an instructor with experience facilitating instruction to small groups of students at a range of levels from beginners to advanced. Students are able to choose to participate in this 24-week long program which will take place during their school day. The program starts in mid-October and runs through mid-May. The number of hours and size of the program will depend on student interest and the instructor’s ability to grow it.

We offer a Traditional Montessori Model using high-quality materials each day and take pride in fidelity to the Montessori philosophy during our four day school week. Our campus is a peaceful environment where we use the Montessori philosophy to empower confident learners. Our teachers root their interactions with students in love and are encouraged to help children by fostering a true love of life-long learning. This year we will be adding a strings program for our students that follows the same loving, self-paced culture and climate that our school prides itself in.

If you would like to be considered for a position as our strings instructor for the 2017-18 school year, please contact Principal Michael Bartlett today at 623-332-3648 or send your cover letter and resume to michael@pdma.education.
